Behind the Scenes Featurette
In November, 2009 Joe Wichryk II, Larry Phillis, David Fedor, and Jon Feightner, a Pittsburgh based comedy troupe collectively known as "Hustlebot," entered a script into the first annual Steeltown Film Factory Filmmaking competition. The ironic and humorous twist was that their script was actually a script about writing a script for Steeltown's competition. In their script they ended up winning the competition and in a case of life imitating art, the group actually did win $12,500 and began work on turning their vision into an actual film. From troubles with locations, to creating their own underground casino, and even a run in with Matthew McConaughey, what follows is a quick glimpse into the making of a film about making a film about making a....well you get the idea.
